On August 4 at about 4:30, Great Gramere was evacuated from her home. This fire was out the back of her house. Those of you have been there, the fire was right behind the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, where the horses are when you look over the back hill. As Great Gramere was packing up to go with the help of Trish, Tim and Ryan - the fireman told them the winds had shifted and they could stay. Gramere went to Trish's anyway just to be safe....... took 3 boxes of valuables, 1 bag and FORGOT to take Gramps!!! (but he stayed behind to watch the house =}

Had the house caught on fire, he would have been the only thing that wouldn't have changed.
You are so right. I even told Victor - ashes to ashes..... gramere laughed and laughed that she forgot him! =}
